Poke began as a humble dish: fishermen in Hawaii seasoned spare cuttings from their catch (poke means to “cut into bites”) as a filling fresh treat, and a local favorite was born.

Our fish is the star of our dish—as it should be.

It’s delivered fresh (never frozen) nearly every day of the year. Our salmon comes from clean certified-sustainable farms and is raised on a diet free of dyes, chemicals, and growth hormones. Our tuna is pulled straight from the ocean; it’s 100% wild caught and free of those artificial preservatives used in other dishes that makes tuna appear fresh when it isn’t.

Our dishes are prepared by hand—not through an impersonal assembly line.

Sit down or to-go, everything is made to order. Our chefs came from Michelin-starred restaurants, and make it all, recipes to sauces, from scratch—the tradition of Hawaiian poke meets the invention of a New York kitchen. (And if it matters to you: Most of our menu is gluten- and dairy-free)
