Poke began as a humble dish: fishermen in Hawaii seasoned spare cuttings from their catch (poke means to “cut into bites”) as a filling fresh treat, and a local favorite was born.

Our fish is the star of our dish—as it should be.

It’s delivered fresh, not frozen, nearly every day of the year. We will NEVER serve you fish treated with carbon monoxide, a common artificial process that makes fish appear fresh when it isn't (unfortunately, CO treated fish is served by nearly everyone else in our industry). Our tuna is pulled straight from the ocean; it’s 100% wild caught and colored as nature intended. Our salmon comes from clean certified-sustainable farms and is raised on a diet free of chemicals, dyes and growth hormones.

Our dishes are prepared by hand—not through an impersonal assembly line.

Sit down or to-go, everything is made to order. Our chefs came from Michelin-starred restaurants, and make it all, recipes to sauces, from scratch—the tradition of Hawaiian poke meets the invention of a New York kitchen. (And if it matters to you: most of our menu is gluten- and dairy-free)
